The team is led by Ms Poonam Dabas, Media practitioner, Strategic Commincation expert and academicican with an experience of over three decades in media.
Experts from various disciplines will be involved on issue basis from an already available pool of human resources.
Prominent among the team at CMSS are :
Mr Navtej Sarna, author-columnist and diplomat, currently serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India looking after the UN and other international bodies. He has been the longest-serving spokesperson of the Ministry for External Affairs and was the interface between Govt of India and both national and foreign media. He was envoy to Tel Aviv and has also served as a diplomat in Moscow, Warsaw, Thimphu, Geneva, Teheran and Washington.
Mr Sahab Singh, scholar and bureaucrat who retired as the Principal Information Officer of the Govt of India and was responsible for media management on behalf of the Govt of India.
